My primary discipline is oil painting in the style of traditional realism. I enjoy painting local scenes in New York, where I live, as well as places I've visited, which inspire me in some way.
I paint plein-air when possible and also work from my own still life's and photographs. In this way each piece is completely original.
My primary focus has been landscapes, gardens, houses and barns however I am always striving to broaden my horizons and experiment with different subjects and mediums.
I graduated from the University of Vermont as a Studio Art Major. I have been in numerous juried art shows in the New York metropolitan area and I belong to a group of twenty painters who share studio space together.
