Five years ago I moved to Oregon, having previously lived in California, Arizona, Oklahoma, and Baja California, Mexico. I spent most of my childhood in Central America with my family, where I learned to speak Spanish fluently and to appreciate people of various backgrounds. That sensitivity has influenced my world view, deepened my sense of humanity, and defined my creative expression. Until I moved to Oregon, my creativity has flowed through poetry and fiction. In Oregon I soon discovered another artistic voice: photography. Sweeter than words, photography has given me an artist's palette to describe my love and admiration for nature's artistic balance. Oregon's abundant wildlife provides exquisite subjects for visual story-telling. I find comedy, drama, action, love, tenderness, and amazing prowess through my Nikon lens. As carefully as I would craft a poem or a short story, I bring the best out in my images and print them on a professional quality printer on archival photo paper.
