My entry into photography began in college when I was influenced by a friend and
award-winning photographer, Louis Ouzer. Twenty years later, with much
support from my wife and family, I started working seriously on my
photography. I love finding the ordinary and turning it into something
special. I truly enjoy creating and experimenting in all forms of
photography.
In my day job I am a
professionally trained musician and educator. I play the tuba and I am
a professor at the University level. I have been influenced by working
with the best in music, writing, painting, and photography, I have had
the unique experience of working in multiple arts at the highest
levels. I have always been told that I look at life differently than
most people, and hopefully this is transferred through my lens to the
viewer.
