Michelle Waldren Designs Austin, Texas

My name is Michelle Girouard Waldren and I am a lampworker currently living outside Austin, Texas. Lampworking is a type of glasswork that uses an oxygen/propane torch to melt rods and tubes of clear and colored glass. All of my glass beads are designed and handmade from start to finish by me. Every piece is unique.

I have recently started metalworking as well and have begun incorporating some of that into my jewelry designs. I was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma and lived in California and Alaska before moving to Texas. I have been making jewelry since 1991 and also teach beadmaking classes. I love coming up with unusual color combinations and designs. Custom orders are available.
