Peggy's paintings are rendered with a detailed pencil drawing on canvas. Then numerous transparent layers of acrylic paint with a brush. There are at least 20 layers of paint in any area. She primarily uses the white of the canvas, rarely adding white to the paint. This technique brings a textural feel to the painting, allowing the feel of the canvas to remain. Time consuming, but the technique came natural to her. Her delicate style of painting is unique to her.

Peggy has been painting and in the art business for 40 years, and has toured throughout the US. Her paintings are most noted for their translucent, yet vivid, texture and color, and she has received numerous awards, owned galleries, and served on numerous boards of Art centers and groups.
